Come on Hillary and Barack. Can’t we all just get along? The idea is to get the Republicans out of the White House. We know you both want to win, but we just want a ticket that can get the Republicans out of office! Barack, you’ve been accused of being vague in terms of your plans for your presidency. Counter with some details instead of misconstrued attacks on Clinton soundbites. A lot of us are undecided and want something concrete we can take to the polls with us. Hillary, let us be dreamers. Yes, the hope stuff lacks concrete plans for change but it gives us, well….hope. Black folks are pretty dang loyal to politicians who’ve had our backs. That said, give us something to inspire our imaginations and get us connected and invested your run for the White House. After the past 8 years, y’all shouldn’t have to try so hard. Give us, the voters, black, white, male, female and everything in between, a little credit for being able to see through the mis-characterizations and mudslinging. Lay out your plans and your views on clearing up the mess of the Bush Administration and sit back and relax, at least a bit, knowing that either one of you would be light-years ahead of what we’ve had.
